Retro fitted Electrickit induction hob

We recently fitted this 1.6kW induction hob to an existing Electrickit Original conversion that is about 6 years old. The customer is delighted, saying the speed of it makes producing something for her children to eat ‘‘…when they are starving’’ a lot easier, and the household moe peaceful as a result.

Do get in touch if you are interested in an induction hob for your Electrickit aga. We can’t fit them to any other versions of an aga, so not oil, gas, solid fuel 13 amp or 30 amp aga, nor E-contriol. They come in two sizes - 1.6 and 3kW outputs. More details on request.

Electrickit conversion with new Induction hob

We converted this aga recently to Electrickit, complete with the new 1.6kw induction hob from Oilwarm, the makers of Electrickit. The induction hobs are currently available as part of a new conversion. At the same time, the aga underwent a light refurbishment - the old blue front was replaced with a good used cream one, and the lid liners and braids, and door backs and seals were replaced with new ones. A very delighted customer!

Four oven oil conversion to Electrickit

A recent 4 oven conversion of an existing oil aga to Electrickit. We also replaced the worn top and lids completely. Reduced running costs, flexibility of being able to switch it on remotely (by using wifi timers) and much more control makes it a great aga for conversion.

Resurrecting a barn find aga - before and after

This aga was given to the customer for free, then stored at their farm for a couple of years in the barn. We rebuilt it with an ElectricKit conversion and installed it in the kitchen with a new plinth, shot blasted ovens and a good clean up of the panels. The side panels are red but now hidden, and a stunning blue front emerged. Bit more cleaning to do on the top, but not a bad transformation for 4.5 hours work.
